Dear Parents/Carers,
As part of World of Work Week, Year 6 will be attending a school trip to:
Location: KPMG, Canary Wharf
Date: Friday 10th February
Travel: Public Transport
We will be leaving school at 9:00am, returning to school by the end of the school day.
What happens on the trip?
We are visiting KPMG, one of the largest banks within Europe. Here we are going to learn how to work in finance and the skills needed to be a banker.
During their visit, the children will attend a short introduction to KPMG followed by icebreaker activities. Children will work in groups towards designing inventions and presenting them in a Dragons Den style setting.
Please note the following:
- Please provide your child with a healthy packed lunch (including a refillable bottle of water). If your child is entitled to free school meals, a lunch will be provided.
- Children must be dressed in full school uniform, including black school shoes.
- Please ensure they are also prepared for the current weather: eg. woolly hat, gloves
- A waterproof jacket must also be provided.
