Dear Parents/Carers,
As part of Sports Day, Year 6 will be attending a school trip:
Location: New River Sports Centre, N22
Date: Monday 4th July 2022
Travel: Walking
We will be leaving school at 9:00am and returning to school before the end of the school day. Parents and carers will be invited to spectate, more information will be provided nearer to the time.
What happens on the trip?
During their visit, the children will participate in some friendly competition with their peers in a variety of athletic activities including long jump, triple jump, short and long distance running, relay races and football.
Please note the following:
- Please provide a healthy packed lunch for your child, unless he/she is entitled to a free school meal, in which case a lunch will be provided.
- Children must be dressed in full school PE kit and prepared for the warmer weather including sun hat, sun cream and refillable bottle of water.
