Dear Parents/Carers,
All children in Year 3 are timetabled to take part in Forest School sessions that will take part all throughout the year. These sessions will be one morning or afternoon each week and will take place in our Forest School area, March Wood, at one end of our school playing field. With the easing of COVID-19 restrictions, we are delighted to be able to invite you to join us in March Wood for an ‘Introduction to Forest School’ meeting. In this meeting you will be able to meet myself and Mr Thomas, hear a little about what Forest School is and why we feel it is important, and have an opportunity to ask us questions.
The meetings will take place at:
9am Thursday 16th September and 9am Friday 17th September
this meeting is expected to last around 20 minutes.
There will be plenty of time at the end for questions and for anyone who wishes to try out some of the activities, such as fire lighting and tool use.
If you are able to join us, please come to the conference centre by the main entrance for 9am on either day.
