Dear Parents of Onyx Class
Unfortunately Mr Monaem is unable to continue as Class Teacher for Onyx Class. This is highly disappointing as Ms Darby spent significant time with Mr Monaem before the Christmas Holiday to support him to take over the class.
The school has advertised for teachers and we are interviewing on Monday. We are hopeful to appoint an experienced teacher to take over Onyx Class.
In the meantime and as an interim arrangement, we do not want the children to be taught by supply teachers and have therefore made the decision to place the children across Quartz Class with Ms Hassan and across Crystal Class with Mr Anisowicz, their previous teacher. We are able to do this as the numbers in both Quartz and Crystal are low which affords us the opportunity to have a full complement of 30 children in each class. Both classes have Teaching Assistants allocated to them.
Because we teach a progressive continuous curriculum your child will continue to learn at an appropriate level. There will be some minor changes to their timetables, please see the website (https://devonshirehill.com/about-us/the-school-day/) for the class timetables.
