Dear Parents/Carers
I hope you and your families are keeping safe and well.
We are now into week 5 of school closure and remote learning and with the Government’s announcement last week that schools will not open before March 8th we have a number of weeks to continue with our remote learning offer. In amongst that we also have half term.
The school has conducted a review of our remote learning offer and I will very soon be sending out a very short survey for you to complete so that we have your views on remote learning so far. This information will be really important to us to improve what we are doing. We will also be sending out a survey to our older children to get their views.
The school currently has our nursery open to all our nursery children so if you have a nursery child who has not returned to nursery yet and you would like them to, please ring the office to arrange. The Government does expect all nursery children to attend.
In the meantime, please let the school know if there is anything we can do to support you, our teachers are keen to keep in contact with you and our pastoral team are here to help with all sorts of things including mental health and wellbeing advice and support for you, or your children. These are very challenging times and I know that a number of you have been, and continue to be deeply affected by the pandemic. We are here to help in whatever ways we can.
Keep up all the hard work you are doing to support your children, I have seen some really excellent work coming into Google Classroom and it is so lovely to see the children, albeit on a photograph, proudly sharing their fantastic work – Well Done!
We all miss you very much and we are looking forward to welcoming you all back, in hopefully, the not too distant future.
